Teflon™ PFA 9724

Teflon™ PFA 9724 by Chemours is a perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) fluoroplastic grade for compounding and compression molding. Possesses high melt strength & toughness, low coefficient of friction, exceptional dielectric & non-stick properties, surface smoothness and thermal stability. Exhibits low smoke & moisture absorption, good flexibility, low flammability and higher melt flow rate than Teflon™ PFA TE9725 providing easy processing. Teflon™ PFA 9724 offers chemical inertness, good heat-, ignition- and weather resistance. It can be processed by melt extrusion & injection, compression and transfer molding. Used in extruded tubing, profiles for hose, electrical insulators & sleeving, industrial film and products requiring superior electrical, chemical, and thermal properties. Meets the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 2010/15 PFOA regulations.
