Teflon™ PTFE 7A X

Teflon™ PTFE 7A X by Chemours is a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) fluoropolymer grade. Recommended for large moldings such as billets requiring optimum mechanical and electrical properties. Possesses moderate stiffness, anti-stick surface, good dielectric properties and high bulk density. Exhibits chemical inertness, low friction and high elongation. Provides ignition-, high temperature and corrosion resistance. Teflon™ PTFE 7A X is stable with frequency & temperature and can be processed by preforming and sintering. Used in skived film & sheet, gaskets, packings, mechanical seals, bridge or pipeline bearing pads, shaft bearings, electrical insulators, piston rings, expansion bellows, diaphragms and chemical linings. Meets the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 2010/15 PFOA regulations.
