Teflon™ PTFE NXT 85

Teflon™ PTFE NXT 85 is a chemically modified, free flowing polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) fluoropolymer grade by Chemours. Possesses good dielectric and non-stick properties and good toughness. Exhibits good flexibility & low friction and water absorption. Offers chemical inertness, good heat-, creep-, high temperature-, corrosion-, permeation and weather resistance. Teflon™ PTFE NXT 85 is suitable for processing by compression molding or preforming and sintering. Used in seal rings, valve seats, bearing pads, pipe valve, vessel liners & fitting and electrical insulation applications that require welding to other fluoroplastics such as PFA or standard PTFE such as fluid-handling systems. Meets the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 2010/15 PFOA regulations.
