TL-160

TL-160 by ChenGuang Research Institute of Chemical Industry is a low molecular weight polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) micro-powder. Exhibits spherical shape, narrow size distribution, excellent dispersing performance and large specific surface area. Shows low bulk density, high oil absorption and low viscosity of composites with solvents. TL-160 is not suitable for molding or extrusion applications. It acts as a solid lubricant and is added into plastics or rubbers at 3-20% to reduce friction coefficient and improve abrasion resistance. Inks, greases, lubricant oils or coatings are benefited at 0.25-10% with lower friction, higher service temperature and prolonged service life. Used as an additive for static spray coating applications.
