Marlex® 1009 Polyethylene by Chevron Phillips Chemicals is an autoclaved low density polyethylene homopolymer. It is processed by injection molding. This grade exhibits excellent flexibility, excellent flow, durability and good warpage resistance. Marlex® 1009 Polyethylene is used in large housewares, tamper evident snap-on caps and feminine hygiene applications. It complies with ASTM D4976-PE 112 and FDA 21 CFR 177.1520(c) 2.2.
