Marlex® 1013 Polyethylene (Old Name: MarFlex 1013) by Chevron Phillips Chemical is a low density polyethylene grade. It is tailored for extrusion coating application. This grade exhibits excellent processability, high line speed at low coating weights, low neck-in, good drawdown characteristics and high temperature extrusion stability. Marlex® 1013 Polyethylene is used in food packaging, laminations, general paper & board coating and general flexible packaging applications.
