Marlex® 1122B Polyethylene by Chevron Phillips Chemical is an autoclaved, low density polyethylene homopolymer. It is processed by injection molding. This grade exhibits excellent flexibility, moderate flow, durability and moderate warpage resistance. Marlex® 1122B Polyethylene is used in healthcare product closures, charcoal lighter fluid closures and champagne bottle stoppers. It meets with ASTM D4976-PE 113 and FDA 21 CFR 177.1520(c) 2.2, use conditions B through H per 21 CFR 176.170(c).
