Marlex® 7104 Polyethylene by Chevron Phillips Chemical is a high molecular weight, linear low density polyethylene hexene copolymer. It is processed by geomembrane and sheet extrusion. This grade offers outstanding ESCR, good melt strength, excellent flexibility, good processability, good gloss and high coefficient of friction. It is used in coextruded cap layers on HDPE, blends with HDPE and in geo-membrane applications like landfill covers, flat and round-die products. Marlex® 7104 Polyethylene complies with ASTM D4976-PE 215 and FDA 21 CFR 177.1520(c) 3.2a.
