Marlex® 7109 Polyethylene (Old Name: MarFlex® 7109) by Chevron Phillips Chemical is an ethylene-hexene linear low density polyethylene copolymer. It is suitable for blown film extrusion applications. This grade exhibits good toughness properties, good drawdown and excellent processability. It is used alone or in coextrusions and blends with other polyolefins. This grade does not contain slip or antiblock additives. Marlex® 7109 Polyethylene is suitable for industrial films and bags, thin gauge applications and general purpose packaging. It is FDA approved.
