High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) (Grey) by Clariant is a 3D-printing, general-purpose, amorphous, machineable, high impact modified thermoplastic polystyrene with surface hardening and ease of release properties. It exhibits good impact resistance and improved flow. It can be processed by injection molding. High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) (Grey) is used in prototypes, mechanical and technical application parts that require strength and toughness, and as a support material. The minimum shelf life is 1 year.
