Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET)

Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) by Clariant is a semi-crystalline, strong, stiff, thermoplastic polyethylene terephthalate, 3D printing filament which allows easy extrusion printing. It can be processed by injection molding. It has high mechanical strength and processing capabilities. The performance of the PET is further improved by adding Hostanox® P-EPQ® and Hostavin® ARO 8. It shows excellent wear resistance and can be processed with tools such as sand paper and drills. It reduces thermo-oxidative degradation and minimizes undesired yellowing due to ultraviolet light. Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) is suitable for prototypes, and mechanical and technical application parts that require toughness and durability. The minimum shelf life is 1 year.
