Bayblend® FR3000 BBS081 by Covestro is a flame-retardant, polycarbonate +acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (PC+ABS) blend. Exhibits an excellent balance of properties such as rigidity, high dimensional accuracy and stability, excellent creep resistance, low moisture absorption, good light stability, improved chemical resistance and high heat resistance. Possesses good paintability and flowability. Provides low emissions and offers high stiffness, easy processing and high toughness – even at cold temperatures. Processed by injection molding. Applications include automotive and electrical, electronics and IT markets. Recommended for electronics, IT & communication, automotive & transportation applications, lawn & gardening equipment (riding mowers, hammer drills) and electrical application (connectors, cable ducts, other electro-technology products). Bayblend® FR3000 BBS081 complies with UL 94 flame rating.
