Makroblend® UT408

Makroblend® UT408 by Covestro is a UV stabilized, impact modified polycarbonate and Polyethylene Terephthalate (PC+PET) blend. It exhibits good chemical resistance to many lubricants, solvents, fuel, oils, hand creams, solvents, sweat and cleaning agents, reduced susceptibility to stress cracking, paintability, good dimensional stability and low moisture uptake.

It provides high toughness (even at low temperatures), good impact strength, high flow and high rigidity.
Makroblend® UT408 can be processed by injection molding.
It is suitable for food contact applications.
