Makrolon® 2658

Makrolon® 2658 by Covestro is a medium viscosity, polycarbonate (PC) grade. It is processed by injection molding. This grade is suitable for EtO and steam sterilization at 121°C. It exhibits easy release, high heat resistance, good toughness, good dimensional stability, high creep modulus and good electrical insulation properties.

It possesses good transparency, high impact strength and chemical- & hydrolysis resistance.
It provides durability, efficient reusability and energy and CO₂ emission savings.
Makrolon® 2658 is recommended for medical applications.
It is biocompatible according to ISO 10993-1 test requirements.
