Makrolon® Rx3440 by Covestro is a high viscosity, chemical resistant, polycarbonate grade. It provides increased oncology drug resistance and high lipid resistance. It is suitable for sterilization with high-energy radiation.

It is biocompatible according to many ISO 10993-1 test requirements.
Makrolon® Rx3440 is processed by injection molding.
It is used in transparent parts for medical devices.
