FZ-1140-D5

FZ-1140-D5 by DIC Corporation is a low halogen, flame-retarded, flash reduced, branched polyphenylene sulphide (PPS) grade reinforced with 40% glass fiber. Provides good dimensional stability, excellent resistance to chemical, creep, heat and temperature. It is a recyclable grade and exhibits good mechanical- and electrical properties. Offers good flexibility, high rigidity, melting point, strength, modulus, humidity and frequencies. Suitable for processing by injection molding. Used for automotive components such as fuel cases, IC regulators, coil bobbins, headlamps, bulb socket and fuel pump impellers. Other applications include air flow meters, hydraulic pistons, pressure-, speed- and position sensors. Recommended for thermostat housings, upper & lower radiator, appliances, capacitors and microwave parts. Also used for hair dryer, motor insulators, LCD and micro switches.
