Z-230

Z-230 by DIC Corporation is a black colored, super tough polyphenylene sulphide [PPS] grade reinforced with 30% glass fiber. It exhibits excellent chemical-, heat shock- & superior elevated temperature- resistance and excellent dimensional stability. It provides excellent impact- and hot water- resistance. It is inherently flame retardant and shows advanced mechanical properties. It has pressure resistance, ductility, high melting point, superior strength and modulus. It shows advanced electrical properties under high heat, high humidity and high frequencies. It is suitable for processing by injection molding and is ideal for precision injection molding of intricate and complex parts. Z-230 is used in automotive components such as: ignition/electrical system (fuel cases, IC regulators, coil bobbins etc.), lighting system (headlamps, bulb socket etc.), fuel system (fuel pump impellers, fuel/intake air flow meters etc.), drive system (ABS system hydraulic pistons etc.), control system (pressure sensors, speed sensors, position sensors etc.) & cooling system (thermostat housings, upper & lower radiator etc.) and industrial applications such as: plumbing (water heaters, pump, valves, casing etc.).
