EcoPaXX® Q-E7300

EcoPaXX® Q-E7300 is a PA 4-10 polyamide based on castor oil by DSM that is particularly suitable for use in high-tech applications due to its low moisture absorption and excellent mechanical properties. It is less damaging to the environment and has the potential to be completely green. It has the usual mechanical properties, but it combines this with low moisture absorption, a high melting point of about 250°C (the highest of all biological nylons), and a high rate of crystallization (faster and more efficient production). Possesses stiffness (highest among all long-chain polyamides) and toughness, especially against bending. EcoPaXX® Q-E7300 also performs reliably in extreme heat and resistant to chemicals and hydrolysis, which makes it suitable for various demanding applications.
