EcoPaXX® Q-PG6

EcoPaXX® Q-PG6 by DSM is an impact modified PA4-10 grade reinforced with 30% glass fibers. It is suitable for injection molding applications coupled with fast cycles and a large processing window which gives increased productivity. Possesses high melting point, chemical resistance, high stiffness and elongation at break/ductility. Shows superior moisture absorption, excellent dimensional stability, great stiffness (including retention after conditioning) and outstanding resistance to hydrolysis and chemicals like oils, greases and salts when compared to both PA6 and PA66. EcoPaXX® Q-PG6 has high mechanical performance similar to PA6, PA66 and PA46. Possesses 66% bio based carbon content. Allows creating good barrier films with transparency on par with PA6 and with less haze due to its low rate of water vapor transmission and fuel permeability combined with very high puncture resistance.
