ForTii® F11C

ForTii® F11C by DSM is a halogen-free, red phosphorous-free, flame retardant polyamide 4T (PA4T) grade reinforced with 30% glass fiber. Is developed to reduce the color change following lead-free reflow soldering when no nitrogen blanket is used during the soldering process. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. Possesses high color stability and high dimensional stability. Shows good flow (one of the highest flows of any halogen-free polyamide), fast crystallization, shorter cycle times, low moisture absorption, long term heat ageing performance and good weld line strength. ForTii® F11C exhibits high thermal stability, high stiffness at elevated temperatures, high toughness, excellent chemical resistance and is also resistant against calcium chloride. Is ideal for Surface Mount Technology (SMT) lead-free reflow soldering. It brings the second best moisture sensitivity level (MSL2) acc. IPC/JEDEC J-STD 020D for SMT in the most demanding applications. Used in automotive, electrical and electronic applications. Meets the highest MSL-level (MSL1) for SMT and ISO 1043 for PA4T.
