Stanyl® TW278F10

Stanyl® TW278F10 by DSM is a high-performance, heat stabilized polyamide 4-6 (PA 4-6) and PTFE grade reinforced with 50% glass fiber. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. It retains its mechanical properties at high temperatures up to 220°C. It provides wear & friction, high flow & toughness, cycle-time advantages and stiffness qualities. It imparts chemical- and excellent heat resistance. It is a friction-modified high heat polyamide that offers excellent strength, creep- & fatigue resistance. Stanyl® TW278F10 has an excellent track-record in gear (EPS, crankshaft balance, oil pump, self-propelled lawnmower transmission and transmission control) applications. It is used in automotive bearing cages, electrical & electronics, EPS steering components (gears, flex couplers and sensors) and outdoor power equipment.
