Elvamide® 8061

DuPont™ Elvamide® 8061 by DuPont is a general purpose nylon (polyamide) multipolymer resin containing polyamide 6 (PA 6), polyamide 66 (PA 66) and polyamide 610 (PA 610) resins. Exhibits outstanding abrasion resistance, good solubility, toughness, high tensile strength, high elongation and excellent adhesion. It can be readily applied from solutions in low cost, quick evaporating alcohols. Possesses high melting point that further prevents gumming up at high needle temperatures frequently encountered in high speed sewing. Offers excellent bonding with consistent quality. DuPont™ Elvamide® 8061 by DuPont is used in the manufacture of yarns. Ideal dosage ranges between 4% and 10%.
