ELVAX™ 260

ELVAX™ 260 by Dow is ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer grade, filled with 28%wt vinyl acetate comonomer content. It contains butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) antioxidant as a thermal stabilizer. It exhibits flex crack resistance, excellent clarity, cling, impact- and puncture resistance. It offers flexibility, resilience, environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR) and is lightweight, favorable value-in-use and economics. Designed for extrusion processing technique. ELVAX™ 260 is recommended for industrial applications. It can be used as strippable semi-conductor insulation shields. Suitable for extremely tough, heat resistant jackets for automotive ignition and low-smoke cables. Complies with Food and Drug Administration Regulation 21 CFR 177.1350(a)(1).
