ELVAX™ 265

ELVAX™ 265 by Dow is an ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer grade, filled with 28%wt vinyl acetate comonomer content. It contains butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) antioxidant as a thermal stabilizer. It provides flex crack resistance, excellent clarity, cling, impact- and puncture resistance. It shows flexibility, resilience and environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR). It is lightweight, favorable value-in-use and economics. It can be processed by injection molding, compounding, sheet & shape extrusion, structural foam molding, blow molding and wire coating. It can also be processed using conventional rubber processing techniques such as Banbury, two-roll milling and compression molding. ELVAX™ 265 is recommended for sealants and industrial applications. It can be used as strippable semi-conductor insulation shields. Suitable for extremely tough, heat resistant jackets for automotive ignition and low-smoke cables.
