ELVAX™ 265A

ELVAX™ 265A by Dow is ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer grade filled with 28% vinyl acetate comonomer content. It contains butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) antioxidant as a thermal stabilizer. Exhibits excellent clarity, good flex crack-, cling-, impact- and puncture resistance. It can be processed by wire coating, injection-, structural- and blow molding. Used as strippable semi-conductor insulation shields. Suitable for extremely tough, heat resistant jackets for automotive ignition and low-smoke cables. ELVAX™ 265A is recommended for industrial applications. Complies with food and drug administration (FDA) regulation 21 CFR 177.1350(a)(1).
