ELVAX™ 3176SB

ELVAX™ 3176SB by Dow is an ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer grade, filled with 18%wt vinyl acetate comonomer content. Contains butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) antioxidant as a thermal stabilizer and slip and antiblocking additives. Exhibits low-temperature heat sealing, flex crack resistance, excellent clarity, cling, impact- and puncture resistance. Designed for coating and cast film extrusion methods for processing of polyethylene resins. Cast film of the grade is adhesive laminated to polyester and other substrates. ELVAX™ 3176SB is recommended for flexible packaging applications. Complies with Food and Drug Administration Regulation 21 CFR 177.1350(a)(1).
