Rynite® 940 BK505

Rynite® 940 BK505 is a 40% glass fiber/mica filled, modified polyethylene terephthalate resin by DuPont. It helps in the manufacturing of stronger and reliable electrical devices, photovoltaic panels, switches and other critical energy components. Exhibits an excellent balance of strength & stiffness, dimensional stability, creep resistance and heat resistance. Possesses excellent flow properties, low warpage and good inherent electrical properties at an elevated temperature. Provides balanced thermal-, mechanical- and chemical properties. It can be processed over a broad temperature range by injection molding. Used in automotive-, electrical- and electronic appliances, where it can replace metals & thermosets, as well as other thermoplastic polymers. Rynite® 940 BK505 offers easy processability and high surface gloss.
