Butvar® B-98 by Eastman is a free-flowing polyvinyl butyral (PVB) thermoplastic powdered grade. Exhibits toughness, good adhesion and flexibility. Retains clarity of the coating used for wood, metal and plastic substrates and offers reactive hydroxyl sites for crosslinking with thermoset systems. Butvar® B-98 is recommended for binders for ceramics and structural composites, for inks and toners.
