Eastar™ Copolyester 6763

Eastar™ Copolyester 6763 by Eastman is a clear, amorphous polyester grade. It possesses high toughness and good melt strength at processing temperatures. It may be colored using color concentrates, dry colors or liquid colorants and is gamma, e-beam and ETO sterilization stable. Eastar™ Copolyester 6763 can be converted by a variety of processing techniques including film and sheet extrusion, extrusion blow molding, shape and tubing extrusion and thermoforming. It has many applications in the field of packaging such as blister-, deodorant-, device-, electronic-, flexible-, food-, cosmetics and rigid medical packaging. It is also used for plastic cards such as credit/debit cards, gaming cards, phone cards, smart cards and identification cards and also for toys/sporting goods, medical devices, electronic parts and hardware items, blown films, fabricated boxes, furniture, lamination, shrink films, signs, suction and drainage, tubing and writing instruments and also for medical applications such as drug delivery, IV components/containers and lab-ware.
