Eastar™ Copolyester MB002

Eastar™ Copolyester MB002 by Eastman is a polyester grade. It has extremely high melt strength and Gamma and E-beam color stability. It provides chemical resistance to most medical solvents including lipids and IPA. Products made from this resin have good aesthetics such as high clarity, gloss and toughness coupled with design flexibility. It runs on most standard processing equipment with broader processing conditions. It is processed by extrusion blow molding and is suited for applications such as large containers, labware, medical and suction and drainage. It complies with FDA/ISO 10993 and USP Class 6, Plastics. Eastar™ Copolyester MB002 has been tested for USP Class VI Biological Evaluation testing after Gamma and EtO sterilization and is GREENGUARD INDOOR AIR QUALITY CERTIFIED®.
