Eastman Spectar UV™ Copolyester

Eastman Spectar UV™ Copolyester by Eastman is a polyethylene terephthalate glycol modified (PETG) grade. Sheets made from this copolyester are affordable, odorless, easy to fabricate, versatile and easy to print and decorate along with having excellent clarity, toughness and thermoforming characteristics. They also possess good chemical-, impact-, chipping and cracking resistance. Eastman Spectar UV™ Copolyester can be laser cut, routed, welded, drilled, die-punched, bent hot or cold, or joined by screws, rivets, or bolts. It can also be cut on conventional table, band, or radial-arm saws with blades commonly used for plastic. It can be converted either through extrusion or vacuum forming. It can be vacuum-formed at lower temperatures than other plastics without predrying the sheet. It finds applications in displays and fixtures, indoor signage, POP (Point of Purchase) and shelving systems.
