Eastman Tritan™ Copolyester TX1001 by Eastman is an amorphous copolyester grade with excellent appearance and clarity. It contains a mold release derived from vegetable based sources. It exhibits excellent toughness and hydrolytic stability. It also offers high impact-, heat and chemical resistance.
  • It can be molded into various applications without incorporating high levels of residual stress.
  • It is easy to process and the products formed can be used in high heat, humidity conditions with aggressive cleaning detergents.
  • It has applications in small kitchen appliances, consumer goods, housewares and dishwashers.
  • Eastman Tritan™ Copolyester TX1001 complies with United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and is certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 51 for Food Equipment Materials and NSF/ANSI Standard 61 – Drinking Water System Components-Health Effects.
