TREVA™

TRĒVA™ by Eastman is a new cellulose-based engineering bioplastic that offers both high performance and reduced environment impact. It is a BPA-free and phthalate-free grade. Offers excellent chemical resistance and excellent flow characteristics which enable design freedom, allowing it to be used with complicated parts and in filling thin walls. Exhibits dimensional stability and low birefringence (to eliminate the rainbow effect some plastics experience with polarized light). Provides great optical performance and durability. Is suitable for processing by molding or extrusion. TRĒVA™ is used in eyeglass frames, wearable electronics, headphones, and many other personal devices that come in direct contact with the skin; electronic display applications, such as lenses and covers; electronic housings, intricate cosmetics cases and automotive interior components.
