Grilamid® 1SVX-50H Black 9288

Grilamid® 1SVX-50H Black 9288 is a light stabilized, impact modified Polyamide (PA 1010) grade reinforced with 50% glass fiber. Is created through poly-condensation of decanediamine and sebacic acid, which are obtained via a multiple-step chemical process from renewable bio raw material i.e. castor oil. Grilamid® 1SVX-50H Black 9288 is based on nearly 100% bio content and is a direct alternative to PA12. Exhibits high dimensional stability, excellent impact- and notched impact- strength, good stiffness, low density, low moisture absorption, and resistance to UV, weathering and chemicals. Provides improved flow ability, de-molding properties, good surface finish, improved warpage performance and easy process ability. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Used in automotive applications like compressed air systems, hydraulic systems, lighting, fuel systems, powertrain and chassis, electrical appliances, electrical equipment, connectors, lighting, mobile phones and other portable devices (housings), cable sheathing, and sports & leisure.
