Grilamid® 2D 20 Natural

Grilamid® 2D 20 Natural is a medium viscosity, low density polyamide 6-12(PA6-12), created through poly-condensation of hexamethylene diamine and dodecanedioic acid. It shows moderate water absorption, high strength, resilience in conditioned stage and is ductile. Exhibits good resistance to chemicals, hydrolysis & weathering and has better dimensional stability when compared to PA6 and PA66. Is suitable for processing by extrusion and injection molding processes. Suited for applications at moderate continuous use temperatures and without repeated direct exposure to UV radiation. Used in automotive applications like feed lines for cooling, heating and climate control systems in cars, compressed air lines of heavy-duty trucks, feed lines for hot diesel fuel and individual layers with high barrier properties in multiple-layer petrol lines. Complies with WEEE, RoHS and REACH.
