Grilamid® 2D 25 W 20 HL X Black 9992 is a plasticized, semi-flexible, high viscosity polyamide 6-12 (PA-612) grade, created through poly-condensation of hexamethylene diamine and dodecanedioic acid. It possesses high strength, low density, and lower water absorption compared to standard polyamides. Provides resistance towards impact, heat, chemicals and hydrolysis. Is suitable for processing by extrusion and offers easy processability. Used in automotive applications like diesel, air brake, cooling, oil and hydraulic tubes. One particular application is the use as outer layer of multilayer ECOSYS (EMS Cooling System) coolant tubes. It complies with WEEE, RoHS and REACH.
