Grilamid® L 16 W 20 Black 9995

Grilamid® L 16 W 20 Black 9995 is a semi-flexible, low viscosity and plasticized polyamide 12 (PA 12) grade. Is formed by the polymerisation of laurolactam (lactam 12, obtained from the basic raw material butadiene), a ring-shaped, long-chain monomer with 12 carbon atoms. Exhibits low water absorption, excellent dimensional stability, high resistance to chemicals, hydrolysis and weathering. Possesses lowest density among all polyamides, UV stability, high impact strength down at low temperatures, easy processability and high elongation at yield. Shows improved flowability and de-molding. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Recommended for electrical cable binders used in aircraft and ship construction as well as off-shore installations.Used in electronics & electrical applications like connectors, consumer good applications like hydraulics & pneumatics and engineering tools. Complies with REACH, RoHS and WEEE.
