Grilamid® L 20 G

Grilamid® L 20 G is a medium viscosity and heat stabilized polyamide 12 (PA 12) grade. Is formed by the polymerisation of laurolactam (lactam 12, obtained from the basic raw material butadiene), a ring-shaped, long-chain monomer with 12 carbon atoms. Exhibits low water absorption, excellent dimensional stability, high resistance to chemicals, hydrolysis, heat, UV, wear, abrasion and weathering. Possesses good flow, lowest density among all polyamides, high impact strength down to -40°C and easy processability. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Used in automotive powertrain and chassis components, electronics & electrical applications like connectors, medical devices, sports & leisure, housewares & consumer good applications and engineering tools. Complies with REACH, RoHS and WEEE.
