Grilamid® L 20 W 20

Grilamid® L 20 W 20 is a semi-flexible, medium viscosity and plasticized polyamide 12 (PA 12) grade. Is formed by the polymerisation of laurolactam (lactam 12, obtained from the basic raw material butadiene), a ring-shaped, long-chain monomer with 12 carbon atoms. Exhibits low water absorption, excellent dimensional stability, heat stability, high resistance to chemicals, hydrolysis and weathering. Possesses lowest density among all polyamides, low weight, good wear properties, good impact strength down to -40°C, high processability and low coefficient of friction. Is suitable for processing by small diameter tube extrusion. Used in automotive applications like compressed air systems, powertrain and chassis, cables & tubes, hydraulics & pneumatics and in engineering & manufacturing. Complies with REACH, RoHS and WEEE.
