Grilamid® L 25 W 40 HLX

Grilamid® L 25 W 40 HLX by EMS-Grivory (EMS Group) is a flexible, plasticized and impact modified, high viscosity polyamide 12 (PA 12) grade. Is formed by the polymerisation of laurolactam (lactam 12, obtained from the basic raw material butadiene), a ring-shaped, long-chain monomer with 12 carbon atoms. Exhibits low water absorption, excellent dimensional stability, heat stability, high resistance to chemicals, hydrolysis, heat, UV and weathering. Possesses lowest density among all polyamides, low weight, excellent cold impact strength and easy processability. Is suitable for processing by extrusion. Grilamid® L 25 W 40 HLX is used in automotive compressed air intake systems, flexible under the bonnet tubes (with no direct gasoline & petrol contact) and high temperature fuel (Diesel) lines and in hydraulics & pneumatics.
