Grilamid® L 25H FWA Natural

GRILAMID L 25H FWA Natural is an impact modified, high viscosity and heat stabilized polyamide 12 (PA 12) grade. Is formed by the polymerisation of laurolactam (lactam 12, obtained from the basic raw material butadiene), a ring-shaped, long-chain monomer with 12 carbon atoms. Exhibits low water absorption, excellent dimensional stability, high resistance to chemicals, hydrolysis, UV, heat and weathering. Possesses lowest density among all polyamides, high impact strength down to -40°C, easy processability, high melt viscosity and high elongation. Allows molding of thick articles with walls up to 15 mm. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Used in parts with low to medium wall thicknesses, housewares & consumer good applications, heating systems, sanitary, water and gas supply. Is suitable for applications in contact with food (NSF 51) and drinking water (NSF 61, KTW, WRAS, ACS, DVGW W270). Complies with FDA, REACH, RoHS and WEEE.
