Grilon® CR 8

Grilon® CR 8 is a polyamide 6-12 [PA 6-12] grade. Possesses barrier properties, high viscosity, low melting point, high flexibility and toughness, high shrinkage, good transparency, good thermoforming and orientation properties. Is suitable for processing by cast film-, blown film- and other extrusion. Mostly used for the manufacture of both cast and blown coextruded films. Its potential applications are flexible packaging for foodstuff such as “cook in bag” for meat, cheese, deep draw consumer, medical packaging and asymmetric barrier film. Also used in oriented film packaging. It applies with EU requirements- Food contact.
