Grivory® G 16

Grivory® G 16 is a low viscosity, amorphous copolyamide grade. Possesses high transparency and high surface gloss, good barrier properties towards flavor and improved gas and aroma barrier at elevated relative humidity. Provides good chemical-, abrasion- and heat distortion resistance. Shows low transmission of UV-radiation. Is suitable for processing by stretch blow molding, injection blow molding and extrusion blow molding. Is also used as an additive for polyamide 6 and different co-polyamides to improve film properties. Used in applications like paper coating, manufacturing of coextruded blown film, mono- or coextruded cast film, mono- and multilayer tubes and barrier layer for packaging of cosmetics and foodstuffs such as meat and cheese. Complies with EU FDA, REACH, RoHS and WEEE.
