TECACOMP® PP ID blue 3956 by Ensinger is polypropylene (PP) compound reinforced with a detectable filler. Suitable for processing by injection molding. Used in compound for detectable cable ties, knife handle in detectable plastic and transport box. Offers safety against residues, damaging loss of image, incalculable follow-on costs as well as toughness modification for lower susceptibility to breakage. It is detectable by a metal and X-ray detector. TECACOMP® PP ID blue 3956 fulfils food contact requirement in conformity with the FDA requirements, Directive 2000/72/EC and Regulation (EU) no. 10/2011.
