TECATOR 5013

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Ensinger
TECATOR 5013 is a rigid, self-extinguishing polyamide-imide (PAI) grade by Ensinger. It is a thermally resilient grade and possesses high fatigue-, mechanical and compression strength, excellent stiffness, dimensional stability and dielectric constant. Provides long-term stability, excellent electrical insulation and easy processability. Exhibits high impact-, creep- and radiation resistance. Shows resistance towards conventional solvents, lubricants, fuels and acids. It is processed by injection molding. Used in automobile, construction, aerospace, electronics, semi-conductor technology and electrical engineering. Also used for tribological applications, cryogenics, precision engineering, medical- and vacuum technology. Suitable for the fabrication of precision parts such as switches, plug components, insulating parts, plain bearing bushes and discs. TECATOR 5013 is recommended for piston rings, rollers, ball bearings, valve seats, balls and slide rails.
