TECATRON® GF40

TECATRON® GF40 by Ensinger is a high performance, insoluble (below 392°F) thermoplastic PPS (polyphenylensulfide) grade reinforced with glass fibers. Exhibits outstanding mechanical properties (under continuous use up to 170°C), excellent thermal properties, excellent chemical resistance, good heat deflection temperature, hydrolysis and superheated steam resistance, high stiffness, good electrical insulation, high mechanical strength, high strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, high dimensional stability, high creep resistance, inherent flame resistance and hot water/ bases resistance. TECATRON® GF40 can be processed using extrusion. Suitable for applications requiring low outgassing. Applications include chemical technology, mechanical engineering, oil & gas industry and precision engineering.
