VESTAKEEP® DC4420 R by Evonik is a white pigmented, high performance polyether ether ketone (PEEK) grade. Available as rods/ discs. It is a biomaterial exhibiting superior mechanical-, thermal- and chemical resistance. Possesses outstanding wear comfort, excellent biostability and shock absorption capability. It can be processed by turning & milling and CAD/ CAM (computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing). Provides an innovative, metal-free solution in dental sector for applications like removable & fixed dentures (providing gentleness and benefit to antagonist as well as to jaw joint), crowns and bridges suited for permanent contact with mucous membrane (it doesn’t have an unpleasant sensation of hot/ cold). Large & small bridges or partial dentures formed possess the advantage of being light and tasteless. VESTAKEEP® DC4420 R complies with biocompatibility test following ISO standards (ISO 10993-03, ISO 10993-05, ISO 10993-10, ISO 10993-10, ISO 10993-11, ISO 10993-11 and ISO 10993-18) and USP Class VI.
