VESTAMID® L2124 by Evonik is a high melt viscosity, unfilled, electrically isolating, plasticized, polyamide 12 with good dimensional control during pipe extrusion. It contains lubricants, processing aid and light-, UV- & heat stabilizers. It is processed by injection molding and profile & tube extrusion. This semi-crystalline grade exhibits resistance to heat (thermal stability) & oil/fuel, low moisture absorption, low coefficient of friction and general chemical resistance. It offers exceptional impact strength. VESTAMID® L2124 is suitable for extrusion of flexible tubing & hoses, especially for oil & petrochemical applications. Recommended for automotive and industry & building construction applications. The shelf life of this product is 2 years.
