VESTAMID® LX9001 black 9.7504 by Evonik is a high viscosity, electrically isolating, heat stabilized, light resistant, polyamide 12 compound. It contains bonding agent. It is designed for extrusion coating of steel tubes. It displays low water absorption, good dimensional stability and nearly unaffected properties in changing ambient humidity. This grade exhibits exceptional impact strength, abrasion resistance, good chemical resistance and excellent adhesion between the steel and the properly applied VESTAMID® LX9001 black 9.7504. Also, increase corrosion resistance of steel tubes. It offers resistance to heat (thermal stability), UV/light/weathering and oil/fuel. It is processed by injection molding. It is suitable for automotive, corrosion protection and industry & building construction applications. The shelf life of this product is 2 years.
