VESTAMID® LX9008 black 9.7504 by Evonik is an unfilled, electrically isolating, heat stabilized, high viscosity, plasticizer-free, polyamide 12 compound. It possesses extraordinary long-term heat resistance under thermal load. It is processed by profile and pipe/tube extrusion. It exhibits resistance to UV/light/weathering & oil/fuel and chemical. It absorbs only little moisture, thus leading to nearly unaffected dimensions & properties at changing ambient conditions. It is suitable to produce flexible tubes that ate permanently exposed to higher temperatures e.g. diesel lines in motor vehicles. VESTAMID® LX9008 black 9.7504 is recommended for tube & hose and automotive applications. The shelf life of this product is 2 years.
